Data controller

The controller for personal data on this site is Morning Masterpiece ([email protected]). Write to [email protected] for any privacy request.

What we collect when you visit

We count page views per page per day, which sites sent visitors here (the referring domain only) and campaign tags in links (such as utm_source). To count unique visitors per day without cookies, we combine your IP address and browser name with a random value that changes every day and keep only a one-way hash, which we delete after a day. We can’t recognise you across days and we don’t build profiles. Nothing is shared with third parties; there are no third-party scripts, fonts or images on this site.

If you subscribe

We store your email address, the date and time you agreed, the wording you agreed to, which page the form was on, the campaign tag or referring site of your visit (if any) and a one-way hash of your IP address as proof of consent. We use your address only to send you the daily email of Morning Masterpiece. We never sell or share it, and we don’t use it for advertising. Sending has not started yet; the first letter will arrive soon. When sending starts, new subscriptions will be confirmed by email before any letter goes out.

The legal basis is your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)). You can withdraw it at any time: every email will carry a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also write to [email protected] to have your address deleted entirely. You have the right to access, correct and erase your data and to complain to your data-protection authority (in Türkiye, the KVKK Board).

Where the data lives

Everything is stored on our own server in a single SQLite database. No analytics or email-marketing service is involved today; if we ever use an email delivery provider, we’ll update this page first.

How long we keep it

Visitor hashes: one day. Aggregate page counts: indefinitely (they contain no personal data). Your email address: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Nightly database backups (kept on the same server) also retain subscriber emails for 14 days, then are deleted automatically.
